Fuel Surcharge currently in effect

Continuous fuel increases across Fiji including a record high in August 2022, the retail price of fuel has seen a reduction as of the 1st of September 2022.

Whilst this relief is welcome, the price of fuel remains 56% higher than compared to when our current rates were issued.

As a result fuel surcharges remain as stated below as of the 1st of September 2022:

  • Region 1 Properties, South Sea, Serenity, Beachcomber, Treasure and MalaMala customers travelling in and out bound FJD$50 for each one-way sector.
  • Region 2 Properties, Tavarua, Namotu, Cloud9, Musket Cove, Plantation, Lomani, Funky Fish, Vunabaka, Tropica, Wadigi, Malolo, LikuLIku Navuni, Castaway, Mana, Tadrai customers travelling in and out bound FJD$75 for each one-way sector.
  • Region 3 Properties, Matamanoa, Sheraton Tokoriki, Vomo and Tokoriki travelling in and out bound FJD$100 for each one-way sector.

Seafiji Link passengers are FJD$25 per passenger for each one-way sector.

All passengers travelling from Port Denarau will be asked to pay the applicable fuel surcharge for all future sectors booked at our check-in counter.

Passengers who are only on an inbound sector will be asked to pay the fuel surcharge upon arrival at our check-in counter on return to Port Denarau.

Customers can choose cash, international debit card, or credit card, noting that international cards do attract a 3% admin fee.

Fijian Competition & Consumer Commission (FCCC)

Do you know the retail price of fuel in Fiji is set by the Fijian Competition & Consumer Commission (FCCC) and is amended on the first day of each month. The price set is based on a range of factors globally but most noticeably by movement in the Means of Platts Singapore (MOPS) market, international freight rates and foreign exchange rates and is beyond our control.
